When Jenny reached out, she was already three steps of the process. She wanted to feel comfortable, grounded, and real in front of the camera. She needed images to support her newly self-designed website. And she wanted photos ready for her ascension into podcasting and the other realms of her growing business with wiggle room.

Jenny showed up with most of her wardrobe already pulled together, but she left room for something harder to plan for, fire horse energy, matching the direction of her own personal growth. So I brought her to my favorite studio, added a handful of energetic props and candles, and let the session take its own shape from there.

This was one of those sessions I wish we'd recorded the conversation too. Aspirational, supportive, honest. It's incredible what a few hours in front of a lens on a rainy day can bring out in a person, and a photographer.
